It is a social project carried out in India that pays for poor children to study, proving them with dignity and the hope of a better future.
There are 300 million Dalits or “untouchables” in India. For 3,000 years they have lived in a cycle of discrimination and hopeless despair !!!
The caste system was developed by the Brahmin caste (priests) in order to maintain their superiority.
Dalits (Untouchables) are not considered part of human society, they are not part of any caste, they are not considered beings worthy of any consideration or respect.
It was by living this situation up close that the desire to do something practical for these children was born, and so the “Teaching Life” Project was born, which aims to give children and young people the right to study and thus have an opportunity to overcome caste prejudices and limits.
Through the project we “adopt” children, offering them a scholarship so that they can study, at a cost of R$50.00 per month.
Today, around 500 children are involved in the project, but over the course of more than 15 years, more than 3,000 children have been helped!
You are changing the history of these lives, may we together continue TOUCHING the hitherto “untouchables” of India with the love of GOD!
God bless you! 🙏🏻🇮🇳🥰
